This is it, guys. Tomorrow is the day where we'll see if history repeats itself or if Pittsburgh fights to live another day. I must preface my next point with this: I'm a realist, can't help it; I won't fool myself into hope when there's no hope to be had. I'm from Toronto, remember?
Do I think Pittsburgh could win, pushing this final, to game 7? Yes, yes I do!
Do I think they can win in Detroit, which is where game 7 will be? No!
I'm sorry, I'm not all rainbows and sunshine! Agreeing that your team played like crap or believing they can't win doesn't make you any less of a fan. I'm not all of a sudden going to don on the red and white and chant Osgood's name. I respect the Red Wings as a good hockey team and as my team's worthy opponents but they're not my team. And I'm a big enough person to admit that Detroit is the better team, hell probably THE best team.
A 5-0 game, just shows that when push comes to shove, the Pens ain't ready. Hope they can prove me wrong.
Moving on to a less depressing topic, the Lions had a practice...or a training session as they call it and there were pictures. And since its my job now to update the world on anything even romotely related to Tom Croft, it is my duty to post these pictures!
Even from afar those shorts emphasize their gluteus maximus
I'm really quite the stalker investigative journalist because I found Tom Croft in 3 seconds flat
Riki Flutey is here because he gives the best face. Look, he has the ball and he's as giddy as a school girl...that or Tom Croft bent over to tie his boot
Exhibit B: He's srs about stretching, okay!
Those shorts! Oh those shorts. Bless those shorts. Are they even regulation? Does it matter? And how about those biceps? Mmm!
Their faces don't matter. Their names don't matter. They're just here for our sick sick fantasies. But James Hook is certainly airing it out, lol.
Tom is clearly SO OVER this drill!
I cannot get over the length of these shorts. Have they always been this short? These are like booty shorts...I'm not objecting, its just Rugby is family entertainment, ya know?
Oh hai bb! Tom's growing a beard, mmmm, I like!
Look Tom's not paying attention again. He must of seen someone he thought was me, that's why he's so distracted, heh.
In light of recent developments concerning the Stanley Cup Final, I find myself tending my emotional wounds. No matter that I had them pegged for the win. No matter that I predicted they would take this series and win the Cup. My dearest Pens have let me down.
I will not go into how they shouldn't be so awe struck by the Red Wings or how they should know their style of play by now, and know how to beat them, having been in this exact same set up last year; especially since Pavel Datsyuk, arguably their best player, is not in the Red Wings' line up. No, I won't go into that.
And no its no consolation at all to know that this time last year they had yet to register a single goal against the Red Wings, because as it stands today they've only scored 2 goals versus The Wings' 6. Yes they've scored 3 times as many goals as the Penguins, so we can't really call this an improvment on last year, can we? But like I said, I won't go into that.
Instead we're going to travel to a magical place full of buff men, tight shorts, and cauliflower ears. Yes this is a Tom Croft post! Tom and Harry Ellis sat out the first game, something about resting after the Heineken Cup final. The Lions won their first game and despite a 37-25 victory, apparently they were not happy with the way they played and Paul O'Connell has been replaced by his Irish National teammated Brian O'Driscoll, as captain.
Whatevs, the point is Tom's playing in the next game on Wednesday, and since this is a huge deal there was a press conference and pictures...but more importantly, there were pictures! So, to brighten my life, on a rather drab and depressing day is A TOM CROFT PICTURE POST!!!Oh how we love these!
Journalist: We have it on good authority that you and Delon Armitage have been or are romantically involved, any comment? Tom: I make it a point not to talk about my personal life. I'm here for Rugby and that's all but I will say this, Delon is a nice bloke and I'm very happy
I can never tell with these shots sometimes, is he catching or passing?!!?!?!
I would just like to comment on their shorts. If they didn't want me to fetishize and sexualize their players they would not a) make them wear such short shorts and b) have a design that emphasizes their asses...I'm just saying
Why hello there!
I love that he's hooked is thumb in his shorts. He doesn't have any pockets, why is he doing this? Oh Tom have we been studying the sears catalouge?
Blue Steel!
Look at this? Who wouldn't want this? Big, muscular, goofy, Croft! I think it may be time to assemble girls, and attack before some skank does!
My Prediction: Pittsburgh in Seven Actual Result: Pittsburgh in Four
W.T.F. I knew that Pittsburgh was going to win. I knew they were the better team but a clean sweep was not something I had even contemplated. Carolina defeated the Boston Bruins, arguably the best team in the East, I had thought they would have put up more of a fight than being defeated in FOUR GAMES. Apparently this entire time, Nickelback's #1 fan, Cam Ward had been keeping his team afloat. Every hockey fan knows that goal tending only gets you so far, you need your power forwards, and dynamic defensemen to get the job done. Apparently Carolina no longer has any power forwards or dynamic defensemen. Hey Eric Staal, where were you this series?
Western Conference
Detroit vs Chicago
My Prediction: Detroit in Six Actual Result: Detroit in Five
So Chicago didn't get cocky but they sure did get a lifetime's supply of humble pie c/o the Detroit Red Wings. Once again Detroit proved that experience is THE deciding factor in a playoff series...that and having an epically deep team; I said it last year I'll say it again, this is not a one line team, or even a two line team. Any line on this team can compete against, any first line in the NHL and still be successful. Mike Babcock, he knows what he's doing.
It was a game filled with hopes and dreams. Dreams that were soon crushed by the merciless Red Wings. The Blackhawks were hoping to get their shot at the crown. Silly little boys, you didn't think the HBIC, was going to give up their crown that easily did you? Oh but don't you worry, vindication is on the horizon boys, I hear Pittsburgh is just itching for a catfight, a grudge match to end it all. They're filing their nails, applying their lip gloss, and teasing their hair. You better hold on to your boyfriends Detroit, Pittsburgh coming for revenge!
The Pens lead their series 3-0 The Red Wings lead their series 3-1
This is happening guys, sh*t is going down, and its going to be good! Oh you know what I speak of!
Stanley Cup Finals: Detroit vs Pittsburgh, Parte Deux
Only this time Marian Hossa, who was a key player in The Pens' success last year now plays for the very team that beat them in the finals. Yes, Hossa is now a Red Wing.
DRAMA!
Will there be trash talking? PLEASE, you know Maxime Talbot won't let him get away with that sh*t and our Lord and Savior will probably have a very polite thinly veild slight or two thrown out to the hungry hockey media. Yes, they'll be playing this angle till game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals!
How awkward is that series going to be for Hossa? I mean, The Pens have a very good chance of winning the Cup this year, like very, very, good, I can see them beating Detroit! Ooooo that's gonna sting for Hossa, who left for a team that he thought would bring him a Stanley Cup. The finals are going to be amazing!
Drama. Catfights. Dirty Hits. And even dirtier playoff beards. I am so down!
PS I love how I've already written off Carolina and Chicago.
but I'm sensing a repeat of last year's final match-up.
I know. I know. I may very well jinx either team's chances but this is my very, very, very, premature prediction. I've seen both Detroit/Chicago games and the first Pens/Caines game and this is what I'm basing my predictions off of.
And you know I would love to see Adam Burish sass Sidney Crosby some more but I'm not sure Chicago can shut down the Red Wings. And with regards to J.Staal v E.Staal well this one's coming down to goal tending and Marc-Andre Fleury is not only a more versatile goalie but he's a better one because he has a better team in front of him
...I know right, I never miss a chance to bring down Nickelback's #1 (Cam Ward) LOL I'm terrible. He may be a nice guy but I don't care! He openly admits to liking Nickelback, to me that's inexcusable!
PS If my prediction does come true, how awakward would that be for Marian Hossa. I can see the stink eye from the Pittsburgh bench, already, lol.
Expect the Staal vs Staal angle thrown at you every which way. Eric is the better Staal but Jordan has the better team. This is going to seven games because Carolina just won't quit, they really want this...who knew? However, Pittsburgh is a better and more complete team. I see them taking this series and going to the Cup finals...again!
Western Conference
Chicago vs Detroit: Detroit in Six
*sigh* Must Detroit teach this lesson again? Chicago has surprised us all with their skill. I'm honestly shocked that they've made it this far. I would have never guessed they could be this good. However, I see them losing the first game, winning the second, getting cocky and then Detroit will destroy them! How do I know this? Well for starters Byfuglien draws too many stupid penalties; give Detroit a power play and they'll score. Secondly Patrick Kane is in love with himself, I don't know how that fits in there but I just want to throw that out and make it known that I don't approve Patrick, not at all!
My Prediction: Boston in Six Actual Result: Carolina in Seven
Ok so I was off...way off! But seriously who wasn't? Had we all not tipped Boston to go to the Conference finals, possibly the Stanley Cup finals? This was their year and somewhere along the line, in f*cking North Carolina, they lost it! I am shocked, completely and utterly shocked that Carolina managed to beat them! Thanks for letting us down Boston! The obligatory: Cam Ward is overrated!
PittsburghvsWashington
My Prediction: Either or but I knew it was going to Seven games Actual Result: Pittsburgh in seven
I can't really take credit for this one because my spidey sense was all wacked out with this match up and I couldn't decide. All I knew was that either Ovechkin or Crosby would push this thing to a game seven. It was an amazing series, full of drama, bad calls and pathetic playoff beards. This was the series everyone was watching. This series is what dreams are made of kids but in the end The Penguins outlasted The Capitals. The blowout game seven was heartbreaking the Caps just couldn't get it together. 6-2 was the final score and Brooks Laich returns to Saskatchewan. What a sad day indeed.
Western Conference
DetroitvsAnaheim
My Prediction: Detroit in Six Actual Result: Detroit in Seven
And thank God! Chris Pronger is out of the playoffs that's all the matters him and that little bitch Correy Perry. Who the hell spells Corey like that? Anyways thank you for delievering Almighty Detroit Red Wings, you did what San Jose could not do thank you, thank you, thank you, amen.
Vancouvervs Chicago
My Prediction: Vancouver in Seven Actual Result: Chicago in Six
Whoa! Did not see this coming. Who knew the Blackhawks were such a force? Didn't really watch this series tbh but I heard that Chicago is not only a good team but they're getting better and better with each game. I'm acutally happy about this mainly because Duncan Keith gets to fight another day. Yeah, Duncan Keith, who I can't differentiate from Patrick Sharp, YEY!
Did you watch the game last night? I did! It was pretty amazing! This series is living up to all the hype (Gary Bettman is currently wetting himself). Crosby and Ovechkin were both fantastic last night, both leading their teams, both showing bitches how its done and both got hat tricks.
Hat tricks you say?
After Ovie's third goal, the Caps fans went nuts, and deservedly so! Its Hockey tradition that whenever a player on the home team gets his hat trick, whoever is willing to part with their hat, will toss their chapeau onto the ice. Sidney Crosby apparently took exception to the amount of and the length at which Caps fans tossed their hats, so he went to talk to the ref...again:
"People kept throwing hats. I was just asking if he could make an announcement to ask them to stop. I mean, the first wave came and then I think they were all pretty much picked up, and then more started coming. So for us, we just wanted to make sure we kept kind of moving and kept the game going, wanted to try to get back in it. So wasn't complaining about anything."
Not complaining, eh? Really? Methinks you were!
Riddle me this: If this were in Pittsburgh. If it were Crosby who scored that goal. If the hats being thrown down were in celebration of his hat trick, do you think Chris Clark (Washington's captain, if you weren't paying attention) would skate up to the ref and ask that they make an announcement? I don't think so!
Suck it up Crosby! Its the playoffs! That game was on fire! Washinton played better than your team! The fans knew it, Washington knew it, and you knew it! Pull up them socks and deliver us a win! We don't need your bitching and complaining, we need wins!
Its a match up for the ages. The one we've all been waiting for. Its not Washington vs Pittsburgh, its OVECHKIN VS CROSBY!
For the first (but definitely not the last) time in history the NHL's two poster boys will go head to head for a chance at Lord Stanley's Cup.
Oh, its going to be good!
Experts, critics, insiders, and players themselves have yo-yo'd between who's the best player in the league; who's really going to take the NHL to the next level. In terms of skill, despite their very different approach to the game, they're even. Ovechkin's a sniper, Crosby's a play maker, so comparing them isn't black and white.
In terms of personality and how they approach the game, they couldn't be more different. Both players are trying to distance the NHL from its beer drinking, bare knuckle fighting, John Deer riding, average Joe past, and bring it into the 21st century.
Ovechkin is going more of the superstar route. He'd find more similarities with his NBA/NFL/Premiership League counterparts than with Crosby. He brings an excitement to the game, an electricity never seen before. He has got the glitz and glam of expensive cars, designer clothes, and hot girls down to a science. He also brings a playfulness to the NHL. His interviews, his goal celebrations, his off ice antics have never really been seen before in the NHL. People rumble and grumble about his huge personality saying that he's 'cocky' and that his antics 'are not good for the came' au contraire. In Washington alone he has ignited a fan base has come out of the woodwork to become legitimate hockey fans and were you watching the All-Star weekend? If Montreal fans love you , how could you possibly be bad for the game? And with regards to his 'cockiness' I honestly don't see it. I just see a guy having the time of his life and he's not afraid to show it.
Crosby however is going more of the family friendly, tween icon, every young hockey player's hero route. Which is a huge responsibility, there's no room for error whatsoever! Crosby has a wisdom and maturity well beyond his years. You see it in his interviews, you see it in his play, everything is well thought out, well planned, well executed. He knows what he wants, he knows how to get there and like a Samurai, he always tries to find the most deadliest and shortest way to get from point A to point B. Oh and believe me, Crosby gets what he wants! Unlike Ovechkin though, there isn't much of a personality there. Its so hard to watch an interview with him after the Pens have had a bad game because you can tell he's simmering, he's fuming, just under the surface but he's holding back because he has a responsibility to the league, to his team, and to the fans, to be this picture perfect boy next door type. Its always serious business with Crosby. Is Crosby having fun out there on the ice (oooo Cut Copy reference) absolutely but he'd be damned if he let any of us know! awww this makes me sad :(
Who will win? Who will come out on top? Who will move on to take on the Boston Bruins (please like Carolina has a chance!)? F**k, I don't know, do you?
Oveckin vs Crosby, bitch, ITS ON! And I can't wait!
Washington vs Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh in Seven/Washington in Seven. I'M SORRY! OKAY! I CAN'T DECIDE! ALL I KNOW IS THAT THIS IS GOING TO SEVEN GAMES. ALRIGHT? OKAY? ARE YOU SATISFIED?
Western Conference
Detroit vs Anaheim: Detroit in Six (don't let me down Detroit! don't f***ing let me down!)
My Prediction: Boston in Six Actual Result: Boston in Four
While I was fully aware of the fact that there was no chance in hell that Montreal was going to beat Boston I had thought they would have put up a better fight than they did, considering last year's disappointment and this year's centennial celebration. I had thought they boys would have fought for their fans, who are the most passionate in the league, and for the dynasty of which they are a part of because let's be honest, if there were no Montreal Canadiens there would be no NHL. PERIOD.
Washington vs New York
My Prediction: Washington in Six Actual Result: Washington in Seven
So I was one game off, and Washington did worry me a little by the boys did not let me down! This was one of the most exciting match-ups of the first round! What Washington lacked (strong goal tending) New York had; and what New York Lacked (Power Forwards) Washington had. This on was pretty much end to end hockey...the best kind! Can we talk about how amazing Lundqvist is? He stood on his head for this team and was the main reason they were winning games but unfortunately one man can't do it all, especially the goalie, and Washington wore him down. Sean Avery was a cold sore, yes but you could tell he eats lunch alone and is the last picked in dodge ball because his team just isn't feeling him. Its kind of pathetic, really! Oh and John Tortorella? LULz:
Maybe the fan asked him about The Quiz? He he. New Jersey vs Carolina
My Prediction: New Jersey in Seven Actual Result: Carolina in Seven
Ugh. In my personal opinion Carolina doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs let alone winning the first round. Cam Ward is over rated. New Jersey is the better team. And yet these bitches still managed to win. Its still irks me to this day that a player like Chad Larose, Chad Larose, has his name on the Stanley Cup and Rick Nash as only made ONE playoff appearance. Where's the justice? Oh well they'll get theirs! Aha aha ahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Pittsburgh vs Philadelphia
My Prediction: Pittsburgh in Six Actual Result: Pittsburgh in Six
Yey! I was right! Even though earlier in the regular season people were wondering if Pittsburgh would even make the playoffs, it looks like the boys found the chemistry and momentum they had last year that took them all the way to the finals. Crosby was great but I'm more impressed with Malkin, homeboy was phenomenal! Last year he flew under the radar this year, he wants it! He wants it so bad he can taste it!
Eastern Conference San Jose vs Anaheim
My Precition: San Jose in Six Actual Result: Anaheim in Six
WTF San Jose? WTH is wrong with you? Arguably THE best team in the league this year and y'all get kicked out of the first round by the Anaheim Neanderthals? What is wrong with The Sharks? Regular season they're phenomenal. Playoffs roll around and bitches can't get shit done. Ugh, Chris Pronger is still in the playoffs. There really is no justice!
Detroit vs Columbus
My Prediction: Detroit in Five (wah) Actual Result: Detroit in Four
This hurts me, hurts me. Rick Nash and the boys couldn't even come up with a single win. I thought at least one game, one game, where Mason would be phenomenal and Umberger, Nash, and Vermette would be off the hook. I mean Mason was impressive but Umberger was the only one on the radar...At least they brought it in game four and only lost by one goal as opposed to 7 billion AND even Little Shake scored, tnawwww. Now they're the only team in the NHL who has never won a playoff game...I can't talk about this, its too painful!
Vancouver vs St Louis
My Prediction: Vancouver in Six Acutal Result: Vancouver in Four
So the Canucks swept the Blues but St. Louis didn't make it easy for them. Every game was anyone's game, it was edge of your seat, nail bitting action! St. Louis has a very skilled team and in that department both teams were pretty much even HOWEVER Vancouver has Roberto Luongo who was OUTSTANDING! Nabokov? Who's that?
Chicago vs Calgary
My Prediction: Chicago in Six Actual Result:Chicago in Six
Who knew? Ok I did! LOL. Even though I had Chicago pegged as the winner I was still rooting for Calgary because they're Canadian and they have Jerome Iginla so its kind of the law!But like the Sharks I knew Calgary would let me down. They're like your deat beat dad: they promise you, they'll take you to wonderland for your birthday. Your birthday rolls around. You put on your best dungerees, your new converse, you have your back pack ready, made an itnerary of where you'll go and when and, you wait at the door...and you wait at the door...and you wait at the door...and finally its 3:00 and you get a call from your dad telling you he's not coming but he'll make it up to you 'I promise' That's Calgary during the playoffs. That's San Jose.
"I had a funeral to go back to in Chicago. The goldfish that I had since I was 10 years old died so I had go back and say my prayers and flush him down the toilet. I just bought a turtle."
Possibly the best quote ever in the history of the NHL!
Maybe there was no flu (or funeral) maybe Kane was partaking in 4/20, certainly explains the above quote.
Yes I was a loser last night and I flicked between CBC's and TSN's playoff preview. What? Its Canada, all hockey fans were watching last night, with a beer in our hand, and in our team's jersey, this is how we do in the Great White North.
Kelley Hrudey is my favourite! And love how Elliott Friedman was all srs bznz "I was acosted by several Bruins fans", am I the only one that found that funny?
Since the playoffs officially start TODAY, WOOT! WOOT! I think its time I make my real, for realz predictions!
Western Conference Boston vs Montreal: Boston in Six
Washington vs New York: Washington in Six
New Jersey vs Carolina: New Jersey in Seven
Pittsburgh vs Philadelphia: Pittsburgh in Six
Eastern Conference San Jose vs Anaheim: San Jose in Six
Detroit vs Columbus: Detroit in Five (wah)
Vancouver vs St Louis: Vancouver in Six
Chicago vs Calgary: Chicago in Six
I get so tired thinking about how many games these boys will have to play in such a short period of time and in such an intense way.
I think this year's playoff run will be very entertaining, we have many rivalries, many new faces, and many superstars, and 3 Staals! How exciting! And tonight its husband no 6 vs arch rivals Philidelphia! ooo its gonna be good! I'm not going any where tonight!
Hey, remember when we were all excited because Rick Nash and the Columbus Blue Jackets made it into the playoffs for the first time in history? Well remember how everyone thought that, um, they would either be playing Calgary or Vancouver in the first round? You know 'cause they had a shot at progressing to the second round with those two teams, they had a chance, right?
Well now they have zero chance! ZERO CHANCE AT ALL!!!!!!!!! Why? Um, well, the team they are set to play in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs is: THE ALMIGHTY DETROIT RED WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yea they're up against the defending cup champs and Mike Babcock's Jedi mind tricks! I don't need to tell you! You know what's up! You know that the Jackets will be put down quickly and quietly! This ain't no 7 game series! This is a 4 game(5 at the most) massacre!
Its time to wipe those smiles off your faces, boys, and get ready for the cottage!
My baby, the apple of my eye, the love of my life, Rick Nash (and the Columbus Blue Jackets) has officially clinched his playoff spot!!!!!!!!!!!! For the first time in franchise history the Blue Jackets have a shot at Lord Stanley, and they were lead by none other than my love Rick Nash.
I don't need to tell you how important this is. Nash has never been to the playoffs. I know, wtf because he's an amazing player, he deserves it more than anyone! Do we need a refresh?
Damn, that never gets old!
Why is this so important? Let's just say Nash has fulfilled is contractual and personal obligations to the Blue Jackets and now whispers around the league is that he wants to come home, he wants the blue and white uniform. Will it happen? Its very probable, VERY!
Here are the teams who are definitely in the playoffs and the teams that might make an appearance. With a few days left until the regular season ends this race is getting tight!
Eastern Conference: Boston Washington New Jersey Carolina
The ladies in waiting:currently in a playoff spot but a spot not yet secured Philadelphia Pittsburgh Montreal New York Rangers
Western Conference: San Jose Detroit Calgary Chicago Vancouver
The ladies in waiting: currently in a playoff spot but a spot not yet secured Columbus Anaheim St. Louis
Usually I'd say that the East is pretty much set but Florida wants that playoff run, so really who knows. And the West? We'll its always been a tight race over there, every game really matters, one loss and youse out, son!
But all I really want out of the playoffs is some Alexander Ovechkin and Rick Nash, at this point does anyone else really matter? Ok maybe for some people but since Rick Nash is a virgin...a playoff virgin that is ;) it will be exciting to see him make his debut and Ovie? I hope he can bring the caps closer than last year, 2nd round? 3rd round, perhaps? That would seriously make my life if the caps make it to the finals. I wanted it last year and I want it again this year.
Our husband Sidney Crosby took exception to Keith Ballard's clean, head over heels, hit on Malkin and decided to throw down.
and why not? I understand where Crosby's coming from; simple hockey logic really, you go after one of our best players, we're coming after you! It may have been clean but damn what a hit!
Love how its Crosby, the other star player on this team, that threw down but hey he's the Captain, and that's what you gotta do, non? Too bad it wasn't much of a fight though. Save it for the playoffs darling, save it for the playoffs!
Speaking of the playoffs, today not only marks the beginning of Holy Week for Christians everywhere but its also Holy Week for the NHL too (sacrilegious? meh not really!), this week is the last week before the playoffs begin and those few teams who are fighting for 8th place are...well, fighting to get into the playoffs.
Its so hard to make predictions now, because we've all seen some upsets in our time (injuries, flukey goals, drama in the dressing room), my only really, really, broad prediction is that it may be, probably, will be a Western Conference team that takes it but hey you never know, a team like Florida could fool us all, and win this bitch!
Here's to the playoffs guys, its better than Christmas!
Last night Blackhawks vs Canucks. Playoff preview, right? Oh God, I hope not:
What the fuck?
Hitting the goalie in the head like that! Giving a wedgies! Pulling of hair! Ripping off your opponents equipment AND his underarmour!
WHAT THE HELL BOYS?????
It was just complete pandemonium! There weren't enough refs! Every time they'd try to break up one fight, 2 others would start, not only that but when the refs were between them USUALLY they'd stop and skate off to their benches but not this brawl, they were still throwing punches while the refs were between them AND the refs had to escort them back to the bench to make sure another fight wouldn't start.
What kind of shit is this?
...and I'm talking to you Chicago! This is not how you answer your opponents when you're down 4-0, this is not how you constructively express your frustrations. How about some goals, boys? 'cause this is how its going to be in the playoffs, and the Canucks just showed you that they've got skill and fierceness, what do you have? a bunch of immature whiny bitches?
Sorry that just doesn't cut it in the NHL playoffs.
Don't worry we won't compare you to the Penguins, whom you very much parallel (both young teams, Crosby/Malkin & Towes/Kane) because, the Pens were disciplined, the Pens were a cohesive unit, the Pens had Gary Roberts, and you? Well it seems that your youth and inexperience got the best of you...but we're not comparing
Looks like Van City's got the edge in this match-up. I mean, on home ice, an all out brawl AND a penalty shot and not a single goal? I suppose its not as close as I thought it was going to be...Oh Chigaco
1)Detroit 2)San Jose 3)Calgary 4)Chicago 5)Vancouver 6)Columbus 7)Nashville 8)Dallas
A) Detroit Vs Dallas
Probable winner: Gee, this one sure is tough...DETROIT, obviously!
B) San Jose Vs Nashville
Probable winner: I think Nashville will put up a good fight but the Sharks have Nabokov so, San Jose!
C) Calgary Vs Columbus
Probable winner: Oh my love Rick Nash, I love you babe but if we're being honest, which we are, its going to be Calgary, and you know it too!
D)Chicago Vs Vancouver
Probable winner: Now this one will be interesting and at this point in time I have absolutely no clue, they're pretty much tied. Chicgao has Kane and Towes but Vancouver has Luongo and in the playoffs if you ain't got goaltending, you ain't got nothing. Its proven time and time again. So who knows
