Various NHL Players Talking About Their Sticks
Cabbie's a national treasure, I swear! He got Sidney Crosby to make a sexual innuendo and that my friends is not easy. Also Rick Nash talks about our relationship while pretending to talk about his stick, so sweet!

Ryan Getzlaf has a House, is Lame
Here's the video because I can't embed it and I'm not bothering with html today VIDEO
His house? Ain't all that.
His car? How typical.
Not even Cabbie's quick wit can make Getzlaf likable, he's just...like a a cinder block, you know?
I mean my dearest Sidney Crosby maybe a block of wood but at least wood's organic and can be used for furniture, art, your backyard deck but cinder blocks?
Cinder blocks are used for the foundation of your house and used in the walls of maximum security prisons. That's Ryan Getzlaf, grey, boring, bulky, and not worth a second glance. Sure he's a good hockey player (I guess) but do you really care about Ryan Getzlaf? Is his poster going to be on your wall? Would you buy that energy drink just because he endorses it? No, no and no!
UGH and those sunglasses he wears, they're so 1999, WHY?
but Getzlaf does have one thing going for him, he's got nice eyebrows...
I just thought we should end it on a positive, okay?

Cabbie at the All-Star Game
I've been waiting for this, for weeks. I knew it was coming and I knew it was going to be good, Cabbie never fails us, people!
- Cabbie's chemistry with Ovechkin is amazing, they should have their own show
- Love it when Cabbie calls out Heatley 'he's you a couple years ago...what happened'
- Its always good when they play along with the joke, who knew Marc Savard was so funny
- I love the inside joke he has with all the Staal brothers, how he's the 5th Staal brother. Marc and Jordan play it better but this is Eric's best showing so we won't knock him
- I'm getting douche bag vibes from Carey Price, UH OH!
but Cabbie, where's Rick Nash?

Brooks Laich doesn't have high speed internet
Here's a video from Cabbie on the Street (one of my personal heroes), interviewing Brooks Laich, Alexander Ovechkin and some other dudes about blogs, and the ever critical eye of the hockey media.
I love how ~*Canadian*~ Brooks' accent is. It's so Captain Canuck, love it.
You know what's weird about the seteroypical ~* Canadian*~ accent? It's that it pops up out of like nowhere, there are no geographical bounds as to where you'll find it. You'll find it in Yellowknife, you'll find it in Halifax, you'll find in Victoria. It blows my mind!
I was talking to some dude at school and he had that ~*Canadian accent*~, I asked him where he was from and he replied "Toronto", now when people say they're from Toronto it could mean Parkdale or it could mean Oakville, so I ask him where in Toronto, and he replies "the beaches" which is in 'the real' Toronto not the GTA!
WTF, so crazy, eh?
