What's on my iPod: Alun Wyn Jones

Alun Wyn Jones is certainly making a case for himself. It may be time for me to bombard you with Alun Wyn Jones Picture Posts, although that might make Crofty jealous, lol.

Anyways here's a sample of what AWJ listens to. I can't get over how normal and humble he is, makes me admire him even more! I think he makes a better golden boy than Jamie Roberts. Don't get me wrong, love Jamie Roberts as well (clearly) but Roberts seems too keen, too up to the task, you know what I mean? Like he's been prepping for fame and glory whereas AWJ is more natural, he goes with the flow but still gracious, still humble. I prefer AWJ's approach, personally plus I really hate Jamie Roberts' new haircut, WHY? You aren't 35, grow that shit out!

Celebrity Playlists, ITS WAR: Me VS. Cam Ward

I only have one reason for disliking Cam[eron] Ward, and its a damn good reason! Anyone would agree...well anyone outside of Alberta (oh snap!)

I was browsing iTunes' celebrity playlists and they had a bunch of playlists from hockey players, I could hate on Ryan Miller some more because he actually states that Poison has some good songs (really??? what fucked up universe does Miller come from?) but I decided on Cam[eron] Ward because even though they both openly state that they like Nickelback, Cam[eron] Ward is better looking than Ryan Miller and I'd rather have Ward's pic on my blog than Miller's, truth be told!

What????? Miller's face is TOOOOOOTALLY lopsided...hey this blog is meant to be judgmental and superficial, so don't hate!

The Verdict: Cam[eron] Ward's musical taste isn't entirely unfortunate BUT the fact that Nickelback is mentioned not once but TWICE and the fact that he openly laments that Nickelback is one of his favourite bands, Cam[eron], your Playlist sucks!!!!!!!

PS I think you also need to take a creative writing class in the off-season, I know Hockey players aren't exactly the brightest of the bunch but come on dude, this is the best you can do???? Maybe I just expect too much from you guys...

What's On My Ipod: Colby Cheese Armstrong

Nearly 24hrs has passed since the shocking news and I've put together a playlist that Colby Cheese needs to upload on his iPod right this instant because not only does it describe the emotions he's feeling right now BUT it will help him to just let it all out.

1)Meat Loaf - A kiss is a terrible thing to waste
The title doesn't say much but HAVE YOU HEARD THIS SONG??? So amazing, so dramatic, so fitting! The best good riddance song like EVER. Its kind of a two parter, starting off with regret and sadness, then ending with: "Tire tracks and broken hearts, it's all we're leaving behind! It doesn't matter what we're losing, it only matters what we're going to find!" Let it out Colby! Let.It.Out.


2)Oasis-Don't Look Back In Anger
Sure, this trade was a shocker, maybe a slight stab in the back, you thought you would be a penguin for a while but then fate had other plans for you. Upon discovering Jordan Staal's musical taste, I decided to put a little twist on this thing, and change it to "What SHOULD be on my Ipod', because Jordo listens to Keith Urban. Yes Keith Urban...I know, how embarrassing! I wasn't expecting him to be a huge fan of the Shins or anything, I mean he's a hockey player...from Thunder Bay for fuck's sake, but Keith Urban??? If we're going to listen to country music, it better be Johnny Cash or Townes Van Zant!

So here's a list there will change your life Jordo or at the very least get you more pootang because what girl doesn't like the deep sensitive artsy guy...especially one with your physique.

This song is pretty, dark, deep, and I'm not sure what its about but picture this Jordo: Parked in your SUV on a hill overlooking Pittsburgh, the lights of Steele town glistening, its cold out, Adriana Lima sitting in the passenger seat next to you, not knowing exactly how to proceed because apparently she's a virgin (BULLSHIT!) but she's giving you her famous bedroom eyes, what do you do??? I'm starting a new series! One a little less fan girl creepy! It's called 'What's On My Ipod' where I guessimate what's most likely on the subject's ipod (except I'll give them better musical taste than they actually have) sounds fun, non? Especially since I'm kind of a music nerd!
