I've starred the ones I think will make the final roster. With regards to the forwards I probably went over the amount of guys they'll actually choose but hey that just goes to show how many top forwards we have.

In terms of goaltending, if I were Yzerman/Babcock I'd go with Broduer, Fleury and Nickelback's #1 fan, Cam Ward. Luongo, has never really wowed me to be perfectly honest...sorry Vancouver.

With defensemen they'll probably go with experience over youth. Yes, that means Chris Pronger will be skating for Team Canada once again along with old man Niedermayer. I expect to see Bouwmeester and Phaneuf there as well. Why do I have a good feeling about Marc Staal?

And now here comes the hard part, the forwards. Our Lord and Savior will most definitely make the cut, let's not fool ourselves. I'm hoping they'll make Sakic or Iggy captain, anyone else is bullshit! I think Towes will make his Olympic debut, the kid's just too good not to. And I have an inkling that if any Staal will be left off the roster it will be Jordan (sorry Jordy). Eric's a top forward and Marc is one of the best young defensemen, Jordan falls somewhere in the middle when we're talking the best of the best. If Getzlaf weren't there (if only...) or Jeff Carter then I could see J.Staal making an appearance. He had a phenomenal playoff series but his regular season was just OKAY, nothing to write home about.

But did you see who was left off of Yzerman's guest list?

The underachieving Jason Spezza! OH SNAP! Hockey Canada probably realized that Jason Spezza's ego takes up 4 spots all by its lonesome and let's be frank people, he just hasn't been that good. Maybe this snub with take him down a few notches...although I doubt that very much.

Although Team Canada's prospects are looking like the dream team, this Olympics isn't going to be a walk in the park. Finland I think will do well, Swden has a lot of talent, and Russia??? Malkin, Oveckin, Semin, AND Datsyuk...that's going to be quite the mountain to overcome, boys!
