Cardiff Vs Leicester

This past Saturday it was the semi-finals for the Heineken Cup and it went into shoot outs or penalty shots as they call it (????) Yea I know:

Wow, Jordan Crane saves the day, who knew? Whatever, we all know who the man of the match was that day:

*sigh*

Watching this was edge of your seat, nail biting action however I think in terms of shoot outs the NHL got it right. See the NHL only has shoot outs during regular season games both teams get the two points and whoever wins in shoot outs gets an extra point and during the playoffs its just sudden death overtime. I think its unfair that a semi-final game should rely on shoot outs or penalty kicks. To put that much pressure on one player when the entire 80 minutes of the game was a team effort; its illogical and unfair to then, give that responsibility to a single player to deliver the win. Besides sudden death overtime is way more exciting, non?
