It was announced on Wednesday who would be repping Canada at the Olympics in men's hockey now before I list off who officially made the roster, let's see who I thought would don the red, white and black

So I got about 83% of the picks correct, go me! That's an A y'all!

Old Man Niedermayer is Captain, which is BULLSHIT because now that Sakic has retired Iggy should have been a shoe-in, oldest on the team doesn't necessarily mean the wisest, Iginla is a much better leader that Neidermayer! International hockey is different than NHL hockey, Stanley Cup wins are irrelevant! Iggy, Our Lord and Savior, and Pronger all got alternate captaincy.

Surprising ommissions: Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St Louis, and Mike Green! I think Lecavalier and St. Louis are better hockey players than Richards and Perry, they seem to be the type of players than can adapt to any situation...plus I really hate Corey Perry! And who the hell is Drew Doughty? Doughy over Green who has the most points for a defensemen, are you serious? Not only that but Mike Green plays with Ovechkin on the Washington Capitals, THERE GOES YOUR INSIDE MAN YZERMAN!

Overall its not a bad line-up. Still think Iggy should be Captain and the three players mentioned above, should have been included but overall its a strong, highly skilled team! However, Russia's looking like a beast, their line up is quite a formidable one, Team Canada will really have to bring it if they hope to win Gold, because Russia's gunning for number 1.
