Sure Lady Gaga is pop but pop doesn't necessarily mean garbage.

Elvis could have been considered pop in his day and yet he is the King of rock n roll. The Beatles could have been considered pop and yet they are lauded as one of the best bands of all time. Michael Jackson was the King of pop and yet he made AMAZING records that merged motown with pop and transformed the music industry forever.

Lady Gaga isn't some Miley Cyrus, Pussycat Dolls bullshit, in her I see Grace Jones and David Bowie who were fucking crazy for the hell of it AND made fantastic music at the same time.

You cannot deny that there's something about Lady Gaga.
