What: True Blood

Why: Let's be honest, Russell Edgington made this season. Denis O'Hare was perfect! PERFECT! I can't remember a villain who was so manipulative, terrifying, crazy, and yet so funny and so lovable. He's a bona fide lunatic but he's kind of my hero. Sure he's deceptive, evil, selfish, undead etc. but he does everything with such, swagger, and grace with a touch of insanity. He was able to enslave a pack of werewolves, the vampire's #1 enemy, force a vampire Queen to marry him to extend his kingdom, kill a magister, still able to laugh while having 300 degree burns AND gave the single most moving speech, ever captured on TBBN (NSFW)!
The ending kills me. Classic Russell Edgington!
The best part is, he wasn't killed off (oh sorry SPOILER) which means, he can always come back! Please Alan Ball, bring back the most duplicitous vampire in the Americas!
