OUCH!

Sidney is the kind of player that you'll love if he's on your team but if he's on the opposition, fo'get about it!

He's no Jerome Iginla or Vinny Lecavalier in that they are universally liked; your team not your team it doesn't matter, you like them but Crosby??? No wai!

I think it has a lot to do with the marketing and hype around him, it largely isn't his fault, I mean would you really care that he likes to talk a lot if his face wasn't plastered all over everything related to the NHL [and hockey, in Canada]? Methinks not. He's a great player, brilliant! But we're being assaulted with Sidney Crosby at all times and it does get a little tiresome and it doesn't help the boy can skate circles around your team, so that just adds insult to injury.

Maybe this is a sign that the NHL needs to market the league and the game in a different way. Absolutely have Crosby a part of that marketing scheme he's one of the best in the world but also have some other players as well, dare I say European players?

But they're going to do what they're going to do, and it probably involves a lot of Sidney Crosby all.of.the.time. That poor kid, all he wants to do is play hockey, no wonder he's awkward as f*ck!
